Modeling Tools
We build open-source tools for ocean biogeochemical modeling, with an initial focus on ocean-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR). Our tools help users design, run, and integrate simulations more efficiently and reproducibly. While ocean modeling is inherently complex, we think at least one part of it can be made more straightforward: the data and software infrastructure that wraps around, drives, and helps organize the scientific code.

C-Star Ocean Network
A coordinated set of regional modeling domains built on common standards. When researchers and practitioners operate within shared infrastructure, results are comparable across regions, knowledge exchange improves, and innovation scales. We are building the first domains for the C-Star Ocean Network (C-SON) in priority decision areas, enabling high-resolution domains for ocean CDR assessments.
