Held immediately after the WIOMSA Scientific Symposium, this workshop provided an opportunity to bring together marine scientists, oceanographic modelers, policy makers, and innovators to deepen collective understanding of mCDR, identify knowledge and infrastructure gaps, and lay the groundwork for inclusive demonstration and monitoring efforts in tropical coastal settings like Kenya.
