SXSW 2025 Community Service Awards Honorees Announced

SXSW named [C]Worthy co-founder and CEO Matt Long a 2025 Community Service Award honoree, recognizing his leadership in ocean-based carbon dioxide removal research. The award, launched in 2000 to honor SXSW Interactive co-founder Dewey Winburne, celebrates leaders and nonprofit organizations working on missions greater than themselves. Matt was recognized alongside honorees working in film, education, music, and hunger relief.
