Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement Added to the En-ROADS Climate Solutions Simulator

Ocean Visions partnered with Climate Interactive to integrate Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement into En-ROADS, a climate policy simulator co-developed with MIT Sloan and used by more than 1.5 million people worldwide. The new feature lets users model both mineral-based and electrochemical OAE approaches, compare it against other carbon removal pathways, and test cost, scale, and policy assumptions—bringing one of the most actively studied mCDR methods into a decision-support tool already trusted by governments, investors, and educators.
